The Figari International Short Film Market is the professional industry platform of the Figari International Short Film Fest, dedicated to the development, production, distribution and international circulation of short films.
During the Market days, filmmakers, producers, distributors, festival programmers, buyers and audiovisual professionals gather in Golfo Aranci to exchange experiences, build new collaborations and support the international growth of short cinema.
Through panels, festival presentations, public pitch sessions and one-to-one meetings, the Market confirms its role as a meeting point between emerging talents and the audiovisual industry, with a specific focus on independent production, international distribution and new opportunities for selected projects.

11.00 HOW TO SURVIVE IN THE MARKET – Villa Sospiri
A professional conversation dedicated to the main challenges of the contemporary audiovisual market: financing, distribution, international sales, project positioning and relationships with broadcasters, platforms, festivals and sales agents. The session is addressed to filmmakers, emerging producers and professionals interested in understanding market dynamics and the most effective strategies to position and promote a work within the contemporary audiovisual landscape.
15.30 PITCH ON THE BEACH – Cala Sassari
One-to-one meetings between filmmakers, producers, distributors and representatives of international festivals and markets, in an informal and highly distinctive setting in Golfo Aranci. Participants can present their films and projects, receive qualified feedback, explore potential festival and market strategies, and build professional relationships with programmers and industry decision makers.

10.00 LOOKING 4 – PITCH SESSION – Villa Sospiri
Public pitch session for projects selected for the LOOKING 4 incubation programme — short films in development, production, post-production, or seeking co-production, distribution and festival premiere opportunities. Projects are presented in front of producers, distributors, broadcasters, festival programmers and audiovisual professionals.
11.00 LOOKING 4 MEETINGS – Villa Sospiri
One-to-one professional meetings between the teams of selected projects and producers, distributors, festivals, broadcasters and industry professionals interested in the development, production or circulation of the presented projects.
15.30 PITCH ON THE BEACH – Cala Sassari
Afternoon session dedicated to one-to-one meetings with producers and audiovisual industry professionals. Participants can present their projects, discuss production strategies, explore potential collaborations and receive qualified feedback in a unique and inspiring setting.
