Looking 4 is a special program of the Figari International Short Film Mkt aimed at creating matchmaking situations between Italian and foreign directors, screenwriters, producers, aimed at the creation of fiction and/or animation short films.
The call is open to directors residing in Italy with an original short film script looking for a production company.
The selection of the scripts takes place under the unquestionable judgment of the Artistic Direction of the Festival. The selected directors will be invited to present their works during the Figari International Short Film Mkt to a parterre of selected producers.
The authors cannot avoid this presentation, under penalty of exclusion from the Festival.
The selected scripts will be 4.
The festival will offer each author two free accreditations, discounts on travel and meals and a Pitch Training session.
To submit a short film, each director must send in a single PDF the form downloadable at this link and containing:

The call is open to Italian production companies with a short film project looking for Italian production companies to co-produce the work with.
Preference will be given to works with already part of the budget covered and films that need companies belonging to certain territories to obtain regional funds.
The selection of the scripts takes place under the unquestionable judgment of the Artistic Direction of the Festival. The selected production companies will be invited to present their works during the Figari International Short Film Fest to a parterre of selected producers.
The selected candidates cannot be exempt from this presentation, under penalty of exclusion from the Festival.
There will be 4 selected projects.
The festival will offer each club two free accreditations, discounts on travel and meals and a Pitch Training session.

The call is aimed at European production companies or directors with a short film project seeking international distribution.
Works with a strong international vision, innovation and great commercial and distribution capacity will be favoured.
The selection of films takes place under the unquestionable judgment of the Artistic Direction of the Festival. The selected ones will be invited to present their works during the Figari International Short Film Fest to a parterre of distributors, during private screenings.
The selected candidates cannot be exempt from this presentation, under penalty of exclusion from the Festival.
There will be 4 selected projects.
